On December 4, the Politburo and the Secretariat organized a national conference to study and grasp Resolution 8 of the 13th Central Committee. The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group Party Committee with more than 11 thousand party members at 184 locations participated in studying the Resolution online.
Attending at Dien Hong bridge were comrade Vo Van Thuong – Politburo member, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Comrade Pham Minh Chinh – Politburo member, Prime Minister; Comrades, members of the Politburo, members of the Secretariat, members of the Central Inspection Committee, representatives of the Central Party Committees, and Party Committees under the Central Government.
Comrade Le Manh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group attended at Dien Hong bridge.
Attending at the Group’s Party Committee meeting point were comrade Hoang Quoc Vuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Comrade Pham Xuan Canh – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Group’s Board of Directors; Comrades, members of the Standing Committee, members of the Executive Committee, and members of the Party Committee’s Inspection Committee; Members of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Directors, Controllers, Heads/Deputies and staff of the Party Committee’s Advisory Boards/Party Committee Office; Heads/Deputies of Group Departments/Offices; Standing member of Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, Veterans Association, Group Youth Union.
The conference was connected to 182 points at Party Committees/Cells under the Group’s Party Committee with more than 11 thousand party members attending to research, study, and thoroughly grasp Resolution 8 of the 8th Central Committee, term XIII.
The conference took place for 1.5 days. On the morning of December 4, the conference heard comrade Vo Van Thuong – Politburo member, President deliver the topic: “Continuing to promote the tradition of great national unity, building our country increasingly rich, strong, prosperous, civilized and happy.”
Also in the morning, comrade Pham Minh Chinh – Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister delivered the topic: “Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of construction and protect the Fatherland in the new period”.
On the afternoon of December 4, the Conference will hear Comrade General Phan Van Giang – Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense deliver the topic: “Strategy to protect the Fatherland in new situation”.
Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia – Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department conveyed the topic “Continuing to build a team of intellectuals to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period” and directed Guide the implementation of Resolution 8 of the 8th Central Committee, term XIII.
At the end of the working day, comrade Truong Thi Mai – Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organizing Committee will give a concluding speech at the Conference.
On December 5, the Group’s Party Committee assigned members of the Party Standing Committee to preside over organizing discussions, contributing opinions and drafting the Action Program of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector to implement the Resolutions.
