PVMR is the only member assigned by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group to “Perform the safety inspection of ships calling at PVN’s oil and gas terminal” including: BSR Port, PVOIL, PVGAS, … In addition, PVMR is carrying out the safety inspection of tanker ships calling ports of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP). PVMR is the only member in Vietnam that is submitting member of OCIMF and has Sire inspectors. PVMR has MTMSA Auditors that meets up international standards.
PVMR has provided Training services related to ship safety inspection for members such as: PVOIL, PVGAS. PVMR has contributed significantly to vessel screening and ensuring good quality ships calling at oil and gas ports, especially for Dung Quat Oil Refinery, PVGAS, PVOIL and NSRP terminals. During the past 10 years, at these ports there have been no incidents or accident that greatly affected the safety of people and property.
PVMR has carried out many SIRE and OVID inspection that assigned by PNV. It’s helping PVN to be on par with other oil major companies such as Shell, BP, Exxon-mobil, Total, Petronas… and building credibility in ship inspection international market.
PVMR has built up technical capacity and human resources to fully meet requirements of serving domestic and international ports. Contributing to creating peace of mind for ports and oil fields under the PVN to complete production and business operations effectively and safely.

PVMR performs the following specific tasks:
– Safety inspection of tanker ships/barges according to international and domestic standards (SIRE and Non-SIRE). – Safety inspection of service ships according to international and domestic standards (OVID). – Audit “Tanker management self-assessment” (TMSA audit). – Audit “Offshore vessel and Management Self-Assessment” (OVMSA audit). – Audit Marine Terminal Management and Self -Assessment (MTMSA). – Training for ship safety inspection. – Carry out tasks related to the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF).
